Use DEB on Debian 12+, Ubuntu 22.04+, and compatible APT desktops. Use RPM on Fedora desktops whose repositories provide WebKitGTK 4.1 and LibSoup 3.
RHEL, Rocky Linux, AlmaLinux, and CentOS Stream 9 are not recommended for RPM installs because their default repositories may not provide the WebKitGTK 4.1 / LibSoup 3 ABI; use AppImage there.
